Discover the universe and the stars without leaving the city of Santiago
Also known as the Usach Planetarium, it is an architectural icon of Santiago and a national reference in the dissemination of astronomical knowledge. The construction pays homage to the astronomical observatory of Chichén Itzá and one of its water mirrors emulates a Mayan cenote, where this ancestral people studied the universe and the stars through their reflection in these pools at night.
This observatory, located about 40 minutes from Santiago, offers different astronomical observation stations at an altitude of 2,700 metres.
