Church of San Agustin

Declared a National Monument, it is one of the oldest and most historic churches in the centre of Santiago. It was built by the Augustinian order, which arrived in Chile at the end of the 16th century. Inside is the venerated image of the Señor de la Agonía, also known as Cristo de Mayo (Christ of May).
