Centro Cultural Estación Mapocho

Palacio Pereira

Destacada joya patrimonial que hoy combina historia y cultura. Construido en 1874 como residencia del senador Luis Pereira Cotapos y diseñado por el arquitecto francés Lucien Ambroise Hénault, el edificio fue cuidadosamente restaurado por el Estado. Actualmente funciona como un espacio cultural abierto a la ciudadanía, con salas de exposiciones, biblioteca, auditorio y cafetería, consolidándose como un nuevo punto de encuentro en la ciudad.

Modern public library with cultural activities, reading and workshops, near Quinta Normal Station. It also offers cultural activities and programmes to promote reading and writing.
Fernández Concha Portal

One of the first portals built in the 16th century, with a commercial look and attractive shop windows, today it is home to restaurants serving both traditional and fast food, with the complete classics being the king of the place.
Constitution Square

One of the most emblematic civic spaces in the centre of Santiago, located in front of the Palacio de La Moneda. This place, a symbol of the country's civic life, houses statues of key figures in Chilean history such as Diego Portales, Jorge Alessandri Rodríguez, Eduardo Frei Montalva and Salvador Allende Gossens.
Plaza de Armas

Santiago's Plaza de Armas is the historic heart of Santiago and the point where Kilometre Zero is located from which the country's distances are measured. Around it are emblematic buildings such as the Metropolitan Cathedral of Santiago, the National Historical Museum, the Central Post Office of Santiago and the Municipality of Santiago.
Palace of the Courts of Justice

A monumental building in a markedly French style, it occupies an entire city block and stands out for its vault of metal and glass structure, where you can see a stained glass window brought from Germany that portrays landscapes of our country.
Alhambra Palace

Destacado ejemplo de arquitectura morisca del siglo XIX, inspirado en la Alhambra de Granada y reconocible por sus arcos de herradura y detallada yesería. Declarado Monumento Nacional en 1973, desde 1940 es sede de la Sociedad Nacional de Bellas Artes. En su interior, puedes admirar patios y una reproducción de la fuente de Los Leones evocan el encanto andalusí en plena ciudad.
Santiago City Hall

Heritage headquarters of the Municipality of Santiago, the building overlooks the capital's Plaza de Armas. During colonial times it was used as a Town Hall and Public Prison, and today it is a National Monument.
Government Palace of Santiago (Former Intendencia of Santiago)

A National Historic Monument, it surprises with its imposing marble staircases that allow you to climb its four floors, where you will find lounges, library and meeting spaces. But it is the colourful stained glass windows designed by the painter Pedro Subercaseaux, which adorn the dome of the building, that attract all eyes.
